Welcome to Alberta Pageants Practice Perfect Program.
Designed for contestants who want to grow, gain experience, and continue developing their skills, this division offers the excitement of real competition without the commitment of a title reign. It is the perfect fit for current titleholders, contestants preparing for future pageants, individuals with busy schedules, or anyone looking to compete simply for fun.
Practice Perfect is built around one core belief: there is no better training than the real thing. While coaching and studio practice are valuable, nothing can fully recreate the experience of stepping onto a live stage, performing in front of judges, and learning to manage the nerves, excitement, and adrenaline that come with competition day. This division provides contestants with a meaningful opportunity to test their skills, styling, wardrobe choices, and stage presence in an authentic pageant setting while receiving valuable constructive feedback to support future growth.

Pageant Weekend with Alberta Pageants - Practice Perfect Division is an exciting and immersive experience focused on confidence, growth, and personal development.
Throughout the weekend, delegates take part in rehearsals, workshops, professional training, social activities, and exciting pageant events — all leading up to a live theatre stage production.
Contestants experience the energy of a real competition environment while building friendships, stepping outside their comfort zone, and creating unforgettable memories along the way. Whether you are preparing for a future title, refining your skills, or simply enjoying the experience, Pageant Weekend is designed to leave every participant feeling more confident, empowered, and inspired.

JUDGING CATEGORIES
Biography - 15%
Contestants will submit a personal biography that will be reviewed by our judging panel and scored based on overall impression, personality, self-expression, confidence, communication, and how well the contestant introduces herself. Judges are looking to learn more about each contestant’s interests, accomplishments, goals, and unique qualities through a well-written and engaging biography.
Interview - 25%
Contestants will participate in an in person interview with our panel of judges & will be asked an assortment of questions designed to better get to know our contestants.
Interviews will be conducted the day prior to pageant day.
CHOOSE 1 OF THESE 3 CATEGORIES
Activewear - 20%
Each contestant will wear a fitness wear outfit on stage.
They will be judged on their confidence, personality, overall appearance and stage ability/presence. They are NOT judged on their physical appearance.
Swimwear - 20%
Each contestant will wear a wear a swimsuit on stage
They will be judged on their confidence, personality, overall appearance and stage ability/presence. They are NOT judged on their physical appearance.
Fashion - 20%
Contestants will wear a fashion outfit of their choice.
They will be judged on their confidence and their stage ability & presence. They are NOT judged on their physical appearance.
Evening Gown - 20%
Each contestant will wear a wear a long gown on stage showcasing the elegance and grace of evening wear.
Live Q & A - 15%
Contestants will be asked to answer a random question on stage & be given 30 seconds to answer.
Final Impression - 5%
Judges will have one final opportunity to see the contestants together to make a final overall impression score.

Alberta Pageants is a self-supporting pageant and relies on entrance fees and sponsorship to cover production expenses. Production expenses include but are not limited to; facility & theater rentals, equipment rentals, audio/visual technicians, performers, advertising, fees, website development & maintenance, judges expenses, staging, supplies, catering fees, crowns & sashes, prizes and awards.
All fees paid to Canadian Beauties Inc are NOT REFUNDABLE and NOT TRANSFERABLE in full or in part under any circumstances (including covid-19 related reasons or date changes). This includes, but is not limited to entrance fees, advertising fees, pageant admission tickets, and any other fees paid to Canadian Beauties Inc by anyone including, but not limited to, contestants, spectators, sponsors and advertisers.
